About
Nuro started as a tool I built for myself. Turns out a lot of people have the same problem.
Quest Taylor
Founder of Nuro
I've always had too many thoughts and not enough way to keep up.
Ideas would hit me at the worst times — driving, walking, mid-meeting. By the time I could sit down to write them out, they'd lost their edge. The insight that felt so clear minutes ago became a vague impression.
I tried journaling. Note-taking apps. Voice memos. Nothing worked. Journaling felt like homework. Note apps became graveyards. Voice memos piled up, never re-listened to.
The problem wasn't capture — it was the pile that built up afterward. What good is recording a thought if you can't find it when it matters?
So I built Nuro. You talk. It transcribes. It pulls out the tasks, tags the theme, files the entry. The pile organizes itself, automatically. And when you want to find something, you just ask.
I built it for myself. Then I showed it to a few friends. They asked if they could use it. Then they asked if they could share it. Here we are.
Nuro is still the tool I use every day. I'm still building it based on what I need. If you have a racing mind too, I think you'll like it.
How we build it
Capture should be instant. No setup, no prompts, no decisions in the way.
Not summaries. Not keywords. Actual tags, tasks, and themes you can find later.
Your voice isn't training data. Your entries don't get sold. Delete anytime.
